Job Summary
Iron Mountain is seeking a finance professional who will be responsible for developing methods, process and policies to monitor and measure ongoing financial performance in support of strategic sourcing and procurement related activities. The Manager will be capable of developing a performance management framework and have demonstrated strong experience in analyzing company-wide spend, industry and market information and internal financial data. This position requires the ability to develop and advance strategic recommendations with key business partners based on a sound business case. The qualified individual should be familiar with leading best practice procurement processes and contribute through continuous improvement recommendations and techniques.
Essential Functions
The Manager will be responsible for overseeing the implementation and ongoing management of spend analytic and performance monitoring tools and will be required to develop reporting to highlight progress and compliance results. The individual will be required to establish strong business relationships with various stakeholders across the company. The position is responsible for determining the financial impact of strategic sourcing initiatives on business area budgets and for developing plans to measure and monitor ongoing performance reports to track cost savings initiatives.
20% The Manager will be a part of the Corporate Procurement team that is accountable for developing and implementing analytical tools and reports for analysis to support negotiations with suppliers providing goods and services across the company.
20% This position will support specific sourcing initiatives and supplier negotiations to help the Corporate Procurement team achieve annual goals regarding its strategic sourcing plan, supply chain, process efficiencies and infrastructure improvements in support of critical corporate objectives of creating compelling content, leveraging technology, and expanding globally.
20% This position requires excellent internal customer service and strong communication abilities as the Manager will be required to interface both within and outside of the Corporate Procurement group and at all levels of management within the Company.
20% The Manager will be accountable for developing the framework to assist with analyzing sourcing initiatives that consider supply chain processes and infrastructure improvements to drive reductions in Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) without compromising business strategy and performance for various Business Units.
20% This individual will support Corporate Procurement in introducing methodology and tools to perform data analysis, model building, process analysis and supplier/contract management.
Requirements
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Position requires specific knowledge and experience in financial analysis and performance management reporting. Ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in spend analysis and strategic sourcing and general knowledge in procurement related activities. Position requires the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. The successful candidate must work well within a team environment and be able to positively influence outcomes with business areas that may be required to deal with change. In this role, the candidate will communicate with internal and external stakeholders in a positive and selling manner.
* Develop and implement tools to allow rigorous cost and market analysis to be completed by the sourcing professionals
* Evaluate total cost/supply analyses to identify opportunities to reduce Total Cost of Ownership
* Ensure consistent application of procurement processes across constituent groups
* Develop, implement, monitor and report performance measures that demonstrate value and ensure supplier performance
* Build/establish relationships with financial and operational personnel to ensure full understanding and support for procurement initiatives
* Develop, track, and report savings, spending compliance and variances, communicate findings with procurement leadership, finance and Business Units
* Perform user and supplier compliance audits as appropriate
