Job Description
Reporting to the Global Treasury Controller, this position provides finance support by performing a wide-range of in-depth standard and ad hoc financial analyses and will develop and update various financial models.
Responsibilities include:
• Works closely with senior managers to understand the Structure Products Division business lines: Stable Value, Municipal Finance, and the Clipper Tax Exempt Program.
• Develops and updates financial models to generate Budget, Forecast and Actuals analyses and system input for Fee Revenue and Direct Expense. Liaises with foreign site managers on these deliverables.
• Serves as a subject matter expert on particular financial management matters on Fee Revenue and Direct Expense.
• Maintain various expense and accrual analyses as necessary, including: service bureau fees, other fees, professional fees, and inter-company charges.
• Produces on-going management reporting, and variance explanation and analysis, including Greenbook and SDAs.
• Maintain database of headcount activity and approved requisitions.
• Prepare and input Direct Expense and Expense Accrual entries to the general ledger as needed.
Qualifications
The candidate should have a BS in Finance or equivalent with 4-6 years of financial analysis experience or an MBA with 3-4 years of experience. Very strong analytical, communications and organizational skills required. Incumbent must demonstrate a high degree of proficiency and independence with spreadsheets and financial modeling skills. Hyperion Essbase, Oracle general ledger experience a plus.
