Credit Risk Parameter Analyst - Internal Risk Rating System (IRRS), Risk Analytics
This position is for an experienced individual supporting the development and maintenance of credit parameter inputs for State Street's Internal Risk Rating System (IRRS) activities, including the Probability of Default Rating Tools, the Counterparty Credit Exposure at Default estimation process, the Credit Masterscales, Maturity assumptions and the Securitization models. The individual will act in the capacity of a liaison between ERM professionals and business users and the quantitative professionals involved in developing and documenting the parameters. This position will report to the Manager, Credit Risk Parameters Team.

* Act as link between credit / business professionals and the quantitative analysis team supporting the subject parameters.
* Solicit feedback from independent assessment functions and ERM Credit regarding ongoing use and appropriateness of the parameters. Ensure feedback is thoroughly vetted and incorporated where appropriate into the change control and governance process.
* Develop thorough knowledge of credit/business judgments supporting the development of the parameters; ensure documentation adequately reflects this information.
* Serve as a knowledge expert and key advisor on all non-quantitative aspects of the parameters.
* Communicate changes to processes and procedures to ERM's Training function and the ERM / PD Tool website teams.
* Develop a strong working relationship with management and other key stakeholders in both ERM and the business units.
Qualifications
Education, experience and skills requirements for the position
* Bachelor's degree or its equivalent. Master's degree a plus.
* Minimum 7 years experience in banking, with an emphasis on all facets of credit. Familiarity with State Street counterparty types, including various funds, corporates, banks, broker-dealers, sovereigns and insurance companies.
* Ability to effectively develop and manage relationships at all levels.
* Excellent problem resolution and analytical skills.
* Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and presentation skills.
* Demonstrated negotiation and leadership skills.
