Finance Director – Government & Industrial Robotics Division

Location: Bedford, MA

 

We seek an experienced Finance Director to oversee all financial aspects of the Government & Industrial Robotics Division.

 

 

Responsibilities:

 


  • Manage team of division financial analysts and accountants.

  • Prepare and/or oversee the timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, annual, and periodic accounting and financial information including but not limited to, variance reports, budgets, financial statements, and forecasts.

  • Evaluate and recommend/implement changes as necessary to accounting and accounting-related policies, procedures, practices, and methods.

  • Work as a partner with the Division Managers to achieve commitments.

  • Direct the status of program cost and schedule performance against goals.

  • Set provisional indirect rates for government contract invoicing.

  • Lead revenue recognition decisions for division.

  • Perform other financial analysis duties as required.



Job Requirements :

Requirements/Qualifications:

 


  • Minimum 12 years of experience in the area of accounting, financial analysis and reporting, including at least 5 years of progressively responsible supervisory experience.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting.

  • Experience in government contract accounting including working knowledge of FAR and DFAR provisions and understanding of DCAA and DCMA operations.

  • Earned Value Management System experience.

  • Good understanding of and hands-on experience with Sarbanes-Oxley internal control-related matters.

  • Ability to work within a team environment to achieve mutual goals.

  • Strong communication and leadership skills.

  • Strong business acumen, highly motivated and self-starter.

  • Ideal candidate will have experience with Oracle and Hyperion Planning.
