Finance Director – Government & Industrial Robotics Division

Location: Bedford, MA

We seek an experienced Finance Director to oversee all financial aspects of the Government & Industrial Robotics Division.

Responsibilities:

Manage team of division financial analysts and accountants.

Prepare and/or oversee the timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, annual, and periodic accounting and financial information including but not limited to, variance reports, budgets, financial statements, and forecasts.

Evaluate and recommend/implement changes as necessary to accounting and accounting-related policies, procedures, practices, and methods.

Work as a partner with the Division Managers to achieve commitments.

Direct the status of program cost and schedule performance against goals.

Set provisional indirect rates for government contract invoicing.

Lead revenue recognition decisions for division.

Perform other financial analysis duties as required.

Job Requirements :

Requirements/Qualifications:

Minimum 12 years of experience in the area of accounting, financial analysis and reporting, including at least 5 years of progressively responsible supervisory experience.

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting.

Experience in government contract accounting including working knowledge of FAR and DFAR provisions and understanding of DCAA and DCMA operations.

Earned Value Management System experience.

Good understanding of and hands-on experience with Sarbanes-Oxley internal control-related matters.

Ability to work within a team environment to achieve mutual goals.

Strong communication and leadership skills.

Strong business acumen, highly motivated and self-starter.

Ideal candidate will have experience with Oracle and Hyperion Planning.
