The Senior Manager Global Tax is a highly visible and critical role reporting directly to the head of tax. The person will take a lead role with the tax provision process and managing the review by our external auditors. The person will provide documentary support for tax positions and be closely involved with the training and development of staff. The person will serve as a source of tax expertise for the company and will possess a demonstrated ability to mitigate worldwide taxes through effective tax research, planning and process implementation.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
· Design, implement and monitor processes to prepare and review the consolidated income tax provision and quarterly tax forecasts (FAS 109, APB 28, FIN 18, FIN 48, FAS 141R), and the related SEC financial statement disclosures.
· Analyze and document all uncertain tax positions pursuant to FIN 48.
· Work in close partnership with other areas of Finance to ensure accurate reporting and accounting for income taxes.
· Serve as a technical resource for the design, develop and implementation of transfer pricing structures, strategies and documentation.
· Support the enterprise wide migration of selected foreign tax compliance services to a Big-Four public account firm.
· Work in collaboration with our preferred service providers to insure proper tax review and quality control over foreign subsidiary tax compliance.
· Support the periodic strategic tax planning reviews of business operations.
· Participate with the rationalization of the worldwide legal entity and capital structures.
· Support the domestic tax compliance process during peak periods.
Minimum Qualifications:
· Technical Skills & Education: Combination of 10+ years tax experience with a Big-Four public accounting firm and the tax department of a US multi-national corporation

Required Skills and Knowledge:
- Excellent tax provision knowledge and experience
- Knowledge of U.S. and foreign corporate income taxation Understanding and experience with outbound US international tax law, structures and strategies, including Subpart F, foreign tax credit and repatriation techniques

Qualifications and Education:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, CPA certification and an MST or MBA.
