Primary Responsibilities: Provide administrative support to the VP and the Human Resources Department by providing administrative and office support functions.
Tasks Performed: The Executive Assistant will serve as a resource supporting the day-to-day activities of the Human Resources Department. Specifically, he/she will be responsible for a wide variety of clerical and administrative functions including but not limited to the following: Provide administrative support to the Vice President and be the central point of contact with other key departments, as well as external contacts; includes telephone coverage, copier projects, mail handling, ordering supplies and necessary communications internally and externally. Set up and coordinate conference calls, appointments, meetings, interviews and other scheduling arrangements as needed. Drafting and completion of correspondence/forms and the appropriate handling of confidential information. Maintain employee files including appropriate filing of all employee documentation. Assist in preparation of various documents and forms and perform other administrative tasks as needed.

Desired Job Experience: A minimum of 3-4 years of experience in a similar administrative role with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word/Excel/Powerpoint, email/electronic scheduling. Experience in the pharmaceutical or medical industry is preferred.

Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality is critical.
