Position Description
Reporting to the Manager of Owner Relations, TripAdvisor is looking for someone to assist in responding to correspondence from hotel owners. The successful candidate will be the advocate for owners whose properties are listed on the site and voice of communication between TripAdvisor and hotel, restaurant / attraction owners – assisting with customer service issues. This role will require excellent communication skills, and command of the English language. Our ideal candidate needs to be highly skilled. If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you.


Responsibilities:
Incoming hotel relations emails (owner inquiries) are the daily focus of this role. This will entail working within our e-mail management system to help keep the Owners inquiry queue up-to-date and answered within a 24-hour time period, assist and communicate all relevant issues to the appropriate parties as necessary. As well, there may be one-time assignments with deadlines given, as appropriate.


•Provide e-mail support to owners whose properties are listed on our site
•Learn and communicate TripAdvisor editorial and “policy” guidelines to our Owners and readers alike
•Highlight potential changes or improvements in guidelines or procedures over time
•Report technical bugs to our engineering team and follow up on their status
•Other one-time assignments and projects pertaining to Hotel Owners
•Weekly reporting including owner inquiry metrics, bug submissions, and updates on any ongoing projects
Skills & Qualifications:
•BS/BA degree required
•Strong time management / prioritization skills
•Prior support experience
•Multi-tasking ability
•Project management experience
•CRM / Support software experience
•Proficient in Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel
•Team skills essential
