HYPERION PLANNING & ESSBASE PROJECT LEAD

Ranzal & Associates is seeking Oracle/Hyperion Planning and Essbase Project Leads. These individuals will be responsible for implementing forecasting, budgeting and operational reporting solutions utilizing a variety of current Hyperion/Oracle products for both new and existing clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for project and resource planning, leadership, guidance, and quality assurance throughout the build, test, and rollout phases of an implementation. -
Manage the day-to-day operations of client engagements.
Activities include ensuring all resources (Ranzal & Client) are appropriately tasked and have all the guidance required to perform assigned tasks in a thorough and timely manner.
Provide status updates to the delivery managers (Principals and Project Managers).
Take an active role during the technical design phase of the project.
Provide ongoing support and guidance to senior consultants and consultants.
Requirements:

Four-year college degree in fields such as Accounting, Business, Finance, Information Systems, Mathematics, or CIS, or equivalent work experience.
5+ Years IT/Business Experience
2+ years of software implementation consulting experience
General understanding of corporate finance and technical business solutions
General understanding of key IT / Business systems, ERP (Sales/HR/Production), Financials (GL/AR/AP),, Reporting & Analytics, Data Warehousing, CRM, etc.
Exceptional communication skills, written and oral
Advanced Hyperion Planning AND Essbase skills
Experience with the Oracle/Hyperion BI+ toolset: Web Analysis, Financial Reporting, Essbase Add-In and SmartView.
Working knowledge of additional toolsets that are used daily during implementation:
ETL
EPMA/BPMA
DIM/Informatica
Oracle Data Integrator (ODI)/Sunopsis
Hyperion Application Link (HAL)/Vignette
Financial Data Management (FDM)/Upstream
Relational Technologies: SQL, Oracle, Netezza, etc.
ERP Systems: Lawson, SAP R/3, Oracle, Peoplesoft, JD Edwards, Information Dynamics
Scripting, MAXL, Esscmd, Perl, Unix Scripting, Windows Batch Scripting
Application Server Architecture, Web Logic, Tomcat, Web Sphere
Coding, Excel VBA, Visual Basic or VB.net, Java, HTML
The ideal candidate will easily adapt to new environments and changing requirements in an exciting and fast paced consulting world. Candidates must exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills. They should be able to demonstrate experience with structured project management and/or the software package implementation process. Most importantly, candidates must be open to learning new skills and advancing their portfolio of knowledge.

This position requires substantial travel to out-of-town clients; applicants must be able to travel 80% nationwide. All efforts will be made to keep consultants regionally based.
