REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:	Report directly to the CEO & President, Jens Bang Serve on Executive Committee Manage 4-6 direct reports & total team of 25-30

BASIC ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:	Externally: Be a passionate believer in Cause Branding and Corporate Responsibility Authentic and sustainable commitment to the integration of causes/social issues into companies, organizations and brands Manage, lead and grow the Cause Branding Discipline Serve as a proactive, engaging and innovative thought leader to advance the agency’s leadership position nationally and globally Play a critical, credible market-facing role Speak and attend industry conferences and work with key Cause Branding leadership to ensure high-visibility in the marketplace Serve as the senior lead on key accounts Maintain and build critical strategic alliances

BASIC ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:	Internally: Provide team leadership for the Cause Branding Discipline Drive collaboration and communication within team and across the agency Develop, mentor, coach and support existing team Promote integration with other disciplines Work collaboratively with senior executives including Carol Cone, Chairman & Founder; Alison DaSilva, EVP Knowledge Leadership; Mike Lawrence, EVP Corporate Responsibility & Crisis; Bill Fleishman, Managing Director & EVP Brand Marketing; Marie O’Neill, Chief Financial Officer Provide high-level strategic counsel, content and quality oversight to new and existing client programs Provide input to Knowledge Leadership team on the development of cutting-edge research Participate in new business development strategy and execution Responsible for successful financial performance of Cause Branding Discipline Optimize client satisfaction, relationship growth & profitability

EXPERIENCE:	Approximately 20 years of business experience Experience managing $7+ MM practice or business division Demonstrated ability to build a business or practice Combination backgrounds preferred including management and operations, marketing communications, cause branding and agency experience Experience creating and executing cause branding or related initiatives Proven track record of developing and delivering marketing communications programs Knowledgeable about corporate responsibility, not-for-profits, foundations, and various causes Ability to craft public/private partnerships and achieve strategic results for clients High-level experience with operations, team management, and people development Experience in an agency or professional services environment Seasoned and highly comfortable in C-Suite environment Strong entrepreneurial drive and ability to grow business Executive, influential and commanding presentation style Masterful ability to communicate Substantive presence that is inspiring, influential and collegial Hands-on leader and team player Generates trust and respect across the team and agency Genuine commitment to Cone values of passion, teamwork, integrity, intellectual curiosity and commitment to excellence
