This position will lead the strategic business development activities for Display Imaging and will be responsible for:




  • Setting long and short-term strategy for the Display Imaging market and executing against that strategy. Works with internal teams to gather input to define long term strategy including defining new product offerings, expansion into new markets, or other initiatives that lead to long term, double digit growth.

  • Taking a leadership role in managing the organizations’ revenue, expense and profit objectives by creating overall projections, budgets and strategic plans, and by monitoring financial performance results.

  • Setting short and long-term objectives for the product managers, development and sales teams and monitoring results.

  • Establishing and proactively communicating priorities throughout the organization and to respective functional groups supporting Display Imaging.

  • Managing and prioritizing the organizations’ respective projects and customer deliverables. Drives the resolution of issues to meet the deadlines as needed and escalates risks and issues appropriately.

  • Assuming the ultimate responsibility and decision making that drives overall performance against objectives and revenue generation.



Requirements:




  • Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred) or equivalent experience required. Fifteen (15) years of related business management experience with at least five (5) at a senior management level.

  • Clear knowledge and understanding of software industry with specific knowledge and understanding of the consumer electronics market and/or the mobile technology space with 5 plus years experience in running a business that serves or is a player in the consumer electronic space.

  • Demonstrated ability to motivate and lead cross-functional teams and get results through a matrix organization where a high level of collaboration is required.

  • Proven ability to proactively develop, manage and enhance long-term client relationships including development and maintenance of excellent C-level client relationships in the Consumer Electronics space.

  • Business unit financial planning as well as P&L management skills.

  • Proven track record of successfully growing revenue while maintaining required profitability metrics.

  • Excellent execution skills with the ability to manage and execute a large number of concurrent projects across multiple functional organizations, within budgetary, manpower and time constraints.

  • Forward thinker with technical strategic planning skills for achieving both short- and long-term goals.

  • Problem analysis and problem resolution skills at both a strategic and functional level.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including presentation skills.
