Description:

The Department of Marketing Communication at Emerson College seeks to fill a full-time faculty position in Marketing. This position is open rank: term, tenure-track, or tenured (tenure-track or tenured preferred) depending on the qualifications, experience, and interests of the successful candidate. The appointment begins September 1, 2010.

Minimum qualifications for the position include:

•     MBA or Masters in PR/Corporate Communications or related field; PhD or DBA preferred


•    Evidence of research and/or other significant contribution to marketing
          o    Candidates should have a strong foundation in theory and experience in practical application


•    Able to teach broad range of courses in marketing and business at undergraduate, graduate, and professional levels including, but not limited to:
          o    Consumer marketing
          o    B2B and entrepreneurial marketing
          o    Brand strategy
          o    Consumer behavior
          o    Marketing research
          o    Business Studies
