Our firm is looking to fill an HVAC Engineer position to support the design and engineering for large scale health projects. This position is responsible for:

• 
  
  Full-cycle design of projects including: bids, business development, project scheduling, design, and construction management.
  
  


• Client contact and coordination


• System's evaluations, analysis and reporting, including energy analysis and life cycle cost analysis.


• Developing system options and making recommendations for improvement


• Assisting and coordinating with other engineers in the preparation of drawings, specifications, reports and cost estimates.


• Performing heating and cooling load calculations, heat transfer, fluids analysis, pressure calculations, and equipment selections as related to building engineered systems.


• Leading a collaborative team of engineers through the design of large scale projects and working independently on smaller projects as assigned.

 Qualified candidates must have a BSME and a minimum of 10 years experience designing complex institutional facilities. The individual will have full technical responsibility for interpreting, executing and coordinating assignments with other engineering specialties and the architectural team.  Must have proven leadership abilities and excellent communication skills. Proficiency in AutoCAD 2004 or later, Microsoft Word, and Excel required.  Professional registration, LEED Accredited Professionals, and healthcare experience strongly preferred.
