New England Controls, a local business partner of Emerson Process Management, is a premier company providing process control and automation solutions to a variety of New England industries.  Now with four locations in Mansfield and Foxboro, MA, Wallingford, CT and Bangor, ME, we provide project management for state of the art DCS systems design, installation and commissioning activities.  These services include intelligent process control solutions targeted for small, mid- or large-sized control system applications.  We also provide coordination and shipment of a wide line of valves, regulators and other control equipment.  Our focus industries include life sciences - biotech/pharmaceutical, pulp & paper, power and food and beverage.  We are a customer-centered, dynamic, fast growing company that offers our employees challenge, variety and interesting careers in automation and process control systems. 


The Installed Base Systems “SureService” Engineering team is a dynamic, consultant-level engineering group at NEC that provides integrated engineering solutions and consulting services to our installed base customers who are using the DeltaV automation system.  NEC is currently looking to grow this group with motivated and energetic self-starters who are eager to apply their technical skills in a highly team-oriented engineering environment.

SureService Engineers are factory trained to gain additional specialization in particular areas of DeltaV integration technology, Plantweb technologies, configuration solutions or other advanced services, and they provide superior consultation and dynamic engineering services to NEC customers that have purchased service contract agreements.  The IBS automation engineers leverage web portal and other computer systems technologies to coordinate their engineering services with end users.  They also facilitate involvement with Emerson product engineers and technical support when software development enhancements or advanced services are required.

Project level activities include the implementation of major version upgrades to the latest versions at customer sites, disaster recovery planning, cybersecurity consultations, advanced process control solutions, interfacing to PLCs or other third-party systems, and other integration or configuration services.
