We currently have a full-time opportunity for a Kitchen Supervisor. The Kitchen Supervisor will provide support to the Kitchen Manager with all kitchen operations.

Primary Responsibilities:
' Oversee kitchen activities. Provide guidance and support to the kitchen team in the preparation of high-quality food. Ensure food is presented in an upscale fashion in line with the American Girl brand.
' Maintain BOH security and safety standards. Be knowledgeable in all state and local health and sanitation laws. Ensure that those standards are consistently maintained throughout the kitchen.
' Promote a cooperative and harmonious work environment. Partner with restaurant leadership and HR in the supervision, coaching, and development of the kitchen staff.
' Assist Kitchen Manager in overseeing the execution of menus with standardized recipes, pricing, portions, purchasing specifications and par levels.
' Execute all job functions in accordance with established American Girl processes and policies. Requirements:
Qualifications:
' 2 years supervisory experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment with 15 or more employees.
' 1 year culinary degree/certification preferred.
' Current State Sanitation certification, Serve Safe, HACCP.
' Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills. Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) helpful.
' Well-developed computer skills essential; must be a skilled user of Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word.
' Work schedule requires evening and weekend work.
