This position is for our Vacumet division, a leader in metallized film and paper.


Duties and Responsibiltiies



  • Understand EVA and its impact on the Human Resources function through business acumen.

  • Counsel plant management on policy and practice issues, and recommending appropriate decisions.

  • Support operations in meeting the HR needs of 100 manufacturing associates. Ensure fair and consistent treatment of all employees and consistent interpretation of corporate policies and practices.

  • Provide an effective recruiting and co-op program that meets the hiring needs of the production facility, as well as global services groups. Support the development of succession planning and integrate the recruiting and training programs into it.

  • Manage the compensation needs of the facility, ensuring consistency with corporate guidelines.

  • Identify the training needs of your internal customers and implement training leveraging internal, and, if necessary, external resources to meet those needs. Confirm measurable positive learning outcomes.

  • Coach mangers and supervisors in their daily communication opportunities.

  • Demonstrate knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and support its facility-wide roll-out

  • Develop the capabilities of your HR team.


Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year institution.

  • Seven (7) years of experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment, as a generalist in all major areas of HR.

  • Management coaching experience preferred.

  • Supervisory experience a plus.
