Key Focus:
This position is responsible for: (1) providing written and verbal technical sales support to Manulife field associates, home office associates, producers, and
professional advisors, and (2) developing, designing and implementing advanced marketing programs, initiatives and materials.
Responsibilities include:
Provide written and verbal advanced marketing support to field associates, home office associates, producers, emerging channels and professional advisors.
Serve as a team leader and team member on various marketing and advanced marketing programs and initiatives.
Develop, design and implement various programs, materials and computer applications.
Provide advanced marketing training to field associates, producers, producer support staff, attorneys, accountants, and other professional advisors.
Working with Product Development area, ensure that products are designed to effectively support advanced marketing needs.
Work with corporate legal department to coordinate issues that raise policy questions and/or give rise to corporate liability.
Review marketing materials for technical/legal accuracy
Qualifications:
- Designations - JD required. (CLU, ChFc, M.B.A., C.P.A. a plus, but not necessary.)
- At least three years advanced marketing experience (private practice or insurance related practice focused on estate planning and/or business planning).
- High level of knowledge, expertise and understanding of relevant codes, case, regulations, related to business and/or estate planning.
- Ability to work independently, often facing conflicting and overlapping demands.
- Excellent writing and verbal skills.
- Experience or willingness to learn insurance products and related computer based marketing and sales applications.
