Job Description:

Reporting to the Senior Director of Marketing, this position is responsible for leading development and execution of the commercial plan for a new indication for Vivitrol. Positions is responsible for leading cross functional teams in maximizing the commercial success of Vivitrol across all indications.

Marketing Responsibilities:
    Develop the marketing strategy & plan, including opportunity identification, target audiences and key messages to support a new indication fir Vivitrol.
    Lead product positioning in conjunction with other product indication and franchise team members to optimize the franchise positioning for Vivitrol. .
    Guide development of the marketing communications plan including scientific messaging and promotional messaging.
    Lead the development of overall promotional media activities designed to deliver Brand objectives among HCPs and consumer audiences.
    Guide peer-to-peer and opinion leader strategy and plan to support the launch of the new indication.
    Provide input and direction to market research and guide application of insights from provider / customer research studies.
    Develop the Profit plan and long-range revenue forecast and budget plan for the new indication.
    Work cross functionally with Clinical and Regulatory teams to advance the clinical program which optimizes the commercial opportunities for the brand.
    Develop the Field Sales training and promotional launch plan.
    Work with government affairs and public relations to maximize external partnership opportunities in support of the new indication.
    Incorporate the overall company vision into the strategy for the Brand.
    Manage financial resources assigned to promotional efforts and optimize return on the marketing budget dollars with well-planned timing and quantity of marketing materials production.
    Prepare and make presentations to appropriate personnel to keep them abreast of marketing direction and programs.
    Develop and maintain active relationships with leaders in key associations to augment strategic direction and maximize tactical efforts with customers.
    Lead agency relationships to create effective advertising, promotion public relations, professional and retailer programs to deliver Brand objectives
     Consult with sales management to develop sales programs that meet the objectives of the commercial strategy.

Qualifications:
Experience
    At least two years pharmaceutical sales experience, plus 4+ years in a position or positions with multidisciplinary pharmaceutical marketing responsibilities such as market research and in-line product management.
    Demonstrated strategic marketing skills and ability to manage and prioritize multiple high priority projects to successful fruition with minimal supervision required.
    Proven ability to work effectively across and within cross-functional teams including medical, legal and finance.
    Experience in developing and implementing compelling programs directed to the specialty, hospital, physician and retail settings within the US pharmaceutical market.
    Experience preferred but not required:
 Two years pharmaceutical sales management
 Sales and marketing to addiction medicine professionals
 Management of market research and strategic analysis
