Leads and motivates EMEA distribution to stretch and exceed annual individual and region sales objectives and quotas while sustaining positive morale and relations
Work with the Global Sales VP to develop necessary EMEA channel infrastructure
Directs the sales lead generation process and provides accurate sales and order forecasts for the EMEA region. Monitors achievement of goals and makes necessary adjustments to achieve EMEA objectives
Coaches, develops, supports, and monitors new EMEA distribution partners to ensure the benefits of Analogic's technology and services are being accurately and convincingly communicated, resulting in new projects and closed orders
Works closely with current EMEA distribution partner to assist in closing business through attendance at key presentations, meetings, and site visits
Directs sales process administration to ensure compliance with revenue recognition and related internal policies
Networks with EMEA industry influencers, professional associations, consultants and existing clients
Support all EMEA related tradeshow initiatives
Works closely with service manager, planning and design groups and installation project managers to ensure customer satisfaction
Meets administrative responsibilities and perform other duties as assigned
SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:
Possesses history of successful direct sales to EMEA technical and government administrative personnel and/or end users. Excellent account building and management skills.
Ability to acquire a basic working knowledge of imaging systems to conduct effective product demonstrations
Demonstrates exceptional verbal communication skills in presentations, influencing others, relationship building and sales closure.
Possesses analytical and problem solving skills to assess situations, anticipate and recognize issues, consider options, impacts and trade-offs, and make decisions to drive results
Able to take part in overnight travel averaging 70% of available time
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or science discipline or equivalent plus twelve or more years of related experience. Medical device experience a plus. MBA desirable.
Additional Experience: 10+ years or more of combined global or multi-territory imaging equipment sales management.
Skills: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office; Outlook, Excel and Power Point.
Location: The candidate must live near a major European airport with extensive international flight service. Residence in Germany, England, or Denmark area is highly preferred.
