MetraTech offers a new approach to charging, billing, settlement and customer care that enables organizations to embrace change without compromise. We are looking for an uncompromising Sales Director to help us build our business in North America.
Job Description:
You will be responsible for finding new opportunities within your territory and for closing new customer wins. This will involve;
· Identifying opportunities within tier 1, and other, service providers (telecommunications and other industries)
· Positioning MetraTech and its solutions using a consultative approach within large accounts is required
· Determining and presenting Return on Investment (ROI)
· Developing executive relationships within target accounts
· Identifying pain-points and constructing and communicating how MetraTech can address those pain points
· Managing the complex, multidisciplinary sales process, bringing in members of other MetraTech teams as needed
Requirements:
To successfully exceed quota, a Sales Director is likely to have;
· A track record of developing relationships within tier 1 executives determining client requirements, working with senior and executive management in order to demonstrate the value of MetraTech’s proven billing solutions with the goal of closing large, complex sales.
· A strong knowledge of billing concepts such as: account hierarchies, billing cycles, service plans, revenue sharing and settlement, as well as a demonstrated ability to position and discuss them with conviction.
· Successful candidates will have 5+ Years experience selling business support systems (BSS) or other business applications software (ideally to telecommunications clients).
· Experience working with major consulting or SI partners may also be a plus. Working in and managing the deal process in a large matrix management organization as well as possessing consultative selling skills will be critical components of your success.
· Proven closing skills and a demonstrated record of consistently meeting and exceeding annual sales quotas is required.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Strong technical sales background; billing, OSS, middleware, SaaS, Cloud Computing
- Excellent presentation skills and superior written and verbal communication skills
- Capacity to grow from direct contributor to growing and managing a territory
Education/Training:
· ·BA/BS; MBA helpful
- ·Sales training, with particular emphasis on Miller Heiman Strategic Selling
Special Requirements:
- Extensive travel required
