As we look to expand our successful Wealth Management business, we are seeking sophisticated sales professionals who understand and can appropriately articulate complex financial planning/retirement planning/trust & estate planning solutions. As a Sales Director with the Bank of New York Mellon, you will draw upon your established network of high net worth business contacts (CPA's, attorneys, realtors, mortgage brokers, etc) to develop business leads. You will be responsible for personally managing the delivery of our customized investment strategy to individuals (primarily) through face-to-face meetings on through deal closure and facilitate transition of daily account management to an experienced Portfolio Officer. In addition, you will participate in the KYC process and assist in acquiring appropriate compliance documentation as required.
Qualifications
The incumbent should possess 7+ years of related experience, preferably in financial services. Emphasis is given to experience in relationship sales. Successful candidates must be able to deal with high net worth individuals, clients with investable assets of $1 million or more and/or large foundations and endowments, family offices or institutions with charitable planning giving needs. The sales process entails detailed analysis of complex financial situations in order to propose the appropriate services to the prospect and the prospect's advisors. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience in preferred.
