Job description
IBM’s Global Technology Services Group in Boston, Mass is seeking an individual that will be responsible for the Hardware and Software marketing maintenance efforts within the New England Service Office.

Goals include:
- Provide the support and knowledge required to protect and grow the service office’s revenue and profit.
- Target Opportunity Identification pipeline sources and contribute to the growth of Maintenance & Technical Support pipeline.
- Utilize tools to track account activities and opportunities
- Execute the corporate strategy by developing a clear understanding of each channel, and develop relationships in the alternate channels; both Inside Sales and Business Partners
- Develop a clear understanding of the portfolio of MTS offerings and be an advocate for our capabilities with clients and other IBM organizations.
- Identify best of breed practices and share these practices with other SDO's.
- Actively participate on calls with the Region Business Development Exec and the Region Sales cadence calls.
- Maintain satisfactory business control posture as measured by corporate audits and demonstrate continued improvement in semiannual control assessments and reviews
- Develop and execute service office growth strategy which complements the East Region growth strategy.
- Mentor and coach service office personnel to increase knowledge of growth initiatives and portfolio management.
- Assume responsibility for developing positive relationships with client executive management and staff to ensure a high level of overall client satisfaction.
 
Required


  • At least 5 years experience in Marketing/Sales Experience

  • Readiness to travel up to 50%; travelling 3-4 days a week, home on weekends

  • English: Fluent


 
 
Preferred


  • Bachelor's Degree in Business/Management
