Title:Senior Account Executive

Position Description:The Sr. Account Executive is responsible for selling AMR Research’s advisory services to new clients within an assigned territory. Specific duties include:

  • Work with sales management to develop a targeted territory plan and conduct regularly scheduled pipeline reviews

  • Substantial cold calling and creative e-mail campaigns sr. level executives to secure meetings and manage a sales pipeline to meet new business quota.

  • Conduct on-site meetings with assigned prospects on a regular basis.

  • Identifying prospect needs/initiatives and aligning them to AMR Research products and services.

  • Exceeding new business sales goals

  • Develop professional sales proposals based on prospect needs and AMR Research products and services

  • Ongoing development of industry association relationships to encourage prospect development (e.g. attending industry events)

  • Cross-functional collaboration with Research, Finance, Marketing and other sales team members.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree and 5-10+ years relevant experience in selling to Sr. level operations and/or IT executives Fortune 1000 size accounts.

  • Experience selling to manufacturing and retail executives a plus.

  • Experience selling consulting or research based products preferred

  • Strong written and verbal communication, including presentation skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to build a sales pipeline and consistently exceed quota.
