Responsibilities
1. Administers security for Special Access Required (SAR) and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) programs
2. Understands company security policies and procedures and disseminates and applies DOD and Intelligence Community (IC) security requirements to cleared company employees.
3. Maintains liaison with external customers and Program Management Personnel.
4. Plans the construction and/or modification of special program work areas to meet the government¿s physical security specifications.
5. Meets regularly with Program Managers and Administrators keeping them appraised of security changes affecting their programs.
6. Maintains COMSEC accountability for SAP level secure telephones and secure networks as required.
7. Maintains integrity of access control and alarm system by conducting required periodic tests and routine preventive maintenance.
8. Supervises the receipt and dispatch, personnel and combination records.
9. Prepares Personnel Access Requests (PARs) and nominations for employees to SCI programs.
10. Supervises document control for all special program areas; duties include receiving, marking, accounting, and destruction of classified material and classified electronic media.
11. Prepares security plans for Automated Information Systems used for special programs and ensure those plans meet the government AIS security requirements.
12. Investigates security infractions and violations and prepare written investigative reports.
13. Insures the required security data bases are maintained.
14. Conducts annual and refresher security education briefings.
15. Authorizes incoming and outgoing classified visit requests.
16. Prepares security plans to meet security requirements.
17. Submits periodic reviews for continued Special Access for scheduling polygraph briefings and examinations with the customer security office.
18. Responds to after-hours alarms and emergency conditions as required.

20. Performs currier duties in the local area and in the U.S. as needed.
21. Assists in other security areas as needed for inspections, events, and special activities.
22. Contributes to SAP community industrial security working groups.
23. Successfully complete IC SAP Indoctrination training conducted at sponsor facilities.
24. Successfully complete DSS or IC AIS training in accordance with NISPOM and DCID requirements desired.
Qualifications
1. Bachelors Degree required. Candidates with a background in Industrial Security/technology, Business Administration, or other related disciplines preferred.
2. 3-5 years industrial experience in government Special Programs. DOD and R&D laboratory experience desirable.
3. Working knowledge of DCID 6/9, DCID 6/3, DOD 5220.22-M NISPOM, NISPOM SUP, JFAN 6/9, and JFAN 6/3
4. Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communications skills.
