Responsibilities:

A successful candidate works as a team member and, reviews and assimilates data importing and exporting, database configuration via SQL and PL/SQL, and UI coupling accomplished to date. Strong attention to detail is required.  Data analysis and design required.   Position requires good communication and close coordination with other teams responsible for coordinating deployment with partners.  Candidate will participate in a number of cross-functional teams. 




  • Responsible for providing design, implementation and maintenance for custom application work.


  • Analyze data requirements for importing and exporting data, map incoming data to existing database, develop data loading processes according to standard methods.

  • Write technical design documents based on data requirements

  • Good problem solving skills are required as well as ability to multi-task assignments.

  • Writing PL/SQL procedures to query and modify data in an Oracle 10g and 11i databases

  • Successful candidates will possess the ability to quickly learn and understand business concepts and how to relate business concepts to database entities.
    Experience writing PL/SQL functions and procedures is necessary, as well as running/writing shell scripts.




Qualifications:


  • Must have experience with PL/SQL and SQL programming

  • Must have experience with ORACLE SQL

  • Must have experience with Oracle databases

  • Must have experience with Extraction, Transformation, and Loading (ETL) concepts or tools

  • Must have experience with relational database design

  • Experience with Perl for Windows a plus

  • Experience with TOAD a plus

  • Experience with Data Warehousing a plus

  • Experience with reporting tools (Crystal Reports, Rave) a plus

  • Past experience with Version Control Tools a plus

  • Delphi experience a plus
