Location: Foxboro, MA

Responsibilities/Duties

    *
      Collaborate with cross-functional Scrum team members to deliver innovative product features on a monthly basis
    *
      Deliver full lifecycle feature development – requirements analysis, design, and production code implementation with accompanying unit and integration tests
    *
      Prototype and assess new technologies and product concepts
    *
      Collaborate with product owners and other stakeholders on functional and non-functional requirements to deliver the appropriate technology solutions
    *
      Participate in release, sprint, and daily planning activities to align engineering efforts with business goals

Experience/Skills

    *
      5+ years n-tier application development experience with Java/JEE
    *
      Expert in object-oriented design and enterprise application patterns
    *
      Expert in designing and delivering enterprise-scale applications for JEE application servers such as WebLogic and JBoss
    *
      Experience with Spring and Hibernate
    *
      Proficient in designing and delivering platform SDK and Web Services
    *
      Proficient in front-end technologies including JSPs, JavaScript, and Web 2.0 technologies
    *
      Strong knowledge and experience with Oracle and PL/SQL
    *
      Knowledge and experience with TCP/IP networking and Internet security
    *
      Comfortable with Windows and Linux environments
    *
      Highly available, distributed systems infrastructure and configuration experience is a plus
    *
      C++ programming experience is a plus
    *
      Proficient with standard Java development tools, e.g., Eclipse, Maven, Subversion, Cruise Control, and JUnit
    *
      Expert in building unit and integration tests in parallel with product code
    *
      Ability to rapidly learn new product lines and technologies
    *
      Agile development experience including Scrum and Test-Driven Development
    *
      Software product company and startup experience
    *
      Excellent verbal and written communication skills
