Responsibilities:

We are currently seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support our portal, collaboration and enterprise content management initiatives.



This person will participate on projects to design, develop, maintain and enhance applications for our portal, collaboration and content management systems.



This person must be well versed in the portal, collaboration and content management technologies with particular emphasis on SharePoint Services, stay abreast of changing technologies and provide technical expertise to other developers.



The person in this position will:



- Design and build state of the art applications and prepare technical Specifications based on evaluation of buisness specifications for complex business requirements



- Participate in the development of future strategies and plans including Information Architecture for both Enterprise Content Management (ECM) and Web Content Management (WCM)



- Effectively drive adaptation to rapidly changing technologies



- Work as the project architect on functional and technical solutions considering usability and performance during all phases of development



- Ensure the technologies used align with enterprise-wide technical architecture and ensure consistency across projects



- Test applications and works with other members in the testing and debugging of programs; participates in overall system and performance testing; support implementation of application into production and post-production



- Have the ability to work on multiple efforts at the same time.



- Provide detailed, high quality documentation at appropriate level to allow for maintenance and extension of the application



- Provide administrative support for SharePoint Services as needed


Qualifications:

Candidates should have:



- At least 4 years of experience as a software engineer



- Strong communication skills (written, oral and listening)



- Extensive knowledge of relevant technologies (Sharepoint Services, .Net, HTML, XML, XSL, ASP, ASP.Net)



- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline (Required)



- Ability to work self directed and as part of a team on projects of various size



- Very strong analytical and problem solving skills



- Self-motivated to stay current in development technologies, tools and techniques



- Facilitation and meeting management skills
