Job Description:
We are looking for a talented Sr. Software Design Engineer to join our CAE Product Design team. You will be working in a fast paced environment with a great group of fellow engineers. In this role, you will be working with product team, customers and other stakeholders to understand product requirements and ensure product architecture will meet those requirements. This position will be focused on building new features as well as enhancing existing ones.


Responsibilities and Duties
• Able to understand and translate business requirements into product solutions.
• Ability to evaluate and articulate the pros and cons of various technical approaches.
• Analyze requirements, ask necessary questions & document technical specifications.
• Apply background in complex enterprise systems to new features and enhancements within company products.
• Experience designing with the Microsoft Toolset.
• Be innovative, objectively providing alternatives and solutions to problems and projects.
• Work closely with the lead software engineer, engineering team members and the product group.
Required Skills:
Education and Experience
• 7+ years of relevant work experience.
• Experience developing in .NET, C# SQL, and C++ a definite plus.
• Solve problems and work individually, and as part of a team, to meet the needs of projects.
• Possess strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Must be self motivated and have good problem solving skills.
