TYBRIN’s Mission Planning Development Group (MPDG) has a mission to be the preferred supplier of mission support software products through effective processes that focus on delivering reliable, timely, innovative and cost-effective solutions to our customers. Mission support products enhance the ability of our DoD customers to perform complex and life critical missions. Key products include: Portable Flight Planning System (PFPS), Tanker Airlift and Special Missions (TASM), Flight Planning Models (FPMs), Joint Precision Air Drop System (JPADS) and the Combat Weapons Delivery System (CWDS).

Project Engineering Lead needed to manage and provide technical leadership for software development efforts supporting Mission Planning Programs for TYBRIN GMS group in Nashua, NH.

The individual selected will provide leadership, direction and engineering support for component based software development activities to include defining software requirements and design, and directing development and test activities.

Education Desired/Required:


  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technical Sciences or Business required


Experience Required:




  • A minimum of 5 years of related engineering and development experience.

  • Experience in a software development environment, including requirements development and management, testing, debugging, architecture/infrastructure development, to include: C++, Java, XML, Object Oriented Design (OOD) and Object Oriented Programming (OOP) methodologies such as Unified Modeling Language (UML), Clear Case, Linux/Unix, Windows 2000/XP

  • Experience with software process development and improvement models, such as Software Engineering Institute (SEI) Capability Maturity Model Integrated (CMMI).

  • Experience in software integration and testing of distributed systems.

  • Familiarity with current software development automated tools, including configuration management support tools and software quality assurance tools.

  • Strong team player. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.

  • Ability to obtain SECRET Security Clearance.

  • Ability to travel CONUS (estimated 0-25% per month).



Preferred:




  • Previous mission planning experience
