Job Description:





We are looking for a future or current QA Engineering star to script and execute automated and manual tests for our web video metrics platform. Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and execute manual and automated tests to ensure robustness of our massively scaled data collection infrastructure

  • Develop and execute automated and manual tests to ensure quality in our analytics dashboard

  • Design tests using a variety of sources including specifications, code inspection, exploratory testing, analysis of failure scenarios, your past experience, and talking with stakeholders

  • Execute a wide range of types of testing ranging from unit through system and performance testing

  • Improve our process/approach as well as suggest more effective ways to test









YOUR EXPERIENCE IS:








  • You have a passion for QA

  • BS or MS in Computer Science or a related field

  • 1+ years of lead Quality Assurance experience

  • Familiar with QA methodology and quality metrics

  • Experience with functional and cross platform testing

  • Experience with web-based technologies including HTML, HTTP, JavaScript, and Flash

  • Some development experience is required:

    • Experience developing automated tests using custom scripting (shell/Perl) or commercial QA tools

    • Web development experience in Java, JavaScript, PHP, and Flash is a definite asset

    • Comfort with databases (MySQL) including knowledge of SQL



  • Proficient in the installation, configuration and administration of Linux, Windows, and browser test environments

  • Experience with programming in Python or Rudy is a definite asset

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure with extreme deadlines, prioritize projects, and maintain focus and sense of humor

  • Passion for web video and social networking is a plus
