Job Description:

Position Summary: The Senior Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for working with the QA team to ensure that software releases are fully tested before being released. Utilization of automated testing tools for performance and benchmarking are required to ensure that the system passes the performance criteria. THIS POSITION IS ALSO AVAILABLE IN OUR BURLINGTON, MA OFFICE.

QA is responsible for documenting all issues/anomalies found in the software in the issues tracking system and ensure that they are scheduled for patch releases. 

The specialist is responsible for reviewing and approving all documentation including release notes and user guides prior to software release. The specialist must ensure that all support issues are updated and documented in the issues tracking system.

Primary Responsibilities: 
* Implement effective processes and drive compliance
* Participate in solution design sessions, deriving automated SOA test plans
* Execute agile testing lifecycle, matching results with expectations and reporting issues
* Continuously refine agile test lifecycle process to improve testing efficiency
* Support documentation team by providing subject matter expertise on new features and functions.


Qualifications/Requirements:
* Minimum 2-3 years experience testing agile test life cycle
* Web-based, Service Oriented Architecture solutions, using both manual and automated SOA-based testing tools (i.e. Parasoft*s SOATest suite).
* Financial Services domain experience is essential
* Willingness to travel, to other corporate locations and client sites
* BS / BA in Computer Science or equivalent.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
